It is that time of year already and applications are open for 2022 courses.
Youth Evening Training starts this year the week commencing the 09 May.
We plan to run beginner and intermediate youth courses on both a Monday and Wednesday evening. However places cannot be guaranteed and you are recommended to apply early.
When you apply you will have the option to select either a Monday or a Wednesday for intermediate and beginner course. Booking will automatically assign you to a group so please select the level appropriate for your child’s ability. It is very difficult to ensure the quality of training if we have mixed ability groups and due to limited availability we may not be able to move your child’s group.
Book below
Beginners – For sailors with little or no prior sailing experience (below stage 2)
Intermediates – For sailors with a sailing ability above stage 2 (normally a minimum of 2 years sailing with MYC)
Adult Evening courses
Our 6 week adult courses will run on Thursdays from 5.30 / 6.00pm. The first course will start in 12 May, with a second course starting 30 June.
Please apply early if you are interested as this will help us to plan better, although we will accept applications up to two weeks before the course start dates.
Powerboat Courses
We have a 2-day powerboat level 2 course scheduled for 12/13 March.
Whilst spaces are limited (and available on a first come first served basis) we have a number of people due to complete their instructor training which will allow us to offer more courses moving forward.
