Mumbles Yacht Club want to appoint a part-time cook, on a temporary basis in the first instance, to provide a varied and interesting menu for children and adults, sailors and visitors.
The shift pattern will be variable to cater for training and events but will broadly be a Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening, and Saturday and Sunday lunch time / after sailing (during term time) with just a Thursday evening and Saturday and Sunday lunch time / after sailing (during the school holidays), involving circa an average of 16 hours per week between mid April and October.
There will be a small number of events such as Newts week 27-31 July when catering will be required for a full 5 days that week, and so a degree of flexibility will be required. The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience and hold or be ready to complete Food Hygiene level 2 and operate within the Club’s rules and procedures.
