Introduction
The Mumbles Yacht Club website serves up thousands of pages[1] every day and is
an excellent platform for local businesses to advertise their services.
As well as hosting weekly club races and regular events for other local clubs
throughout the year, we run many high profile events with family and friends,
not only competitors, viewing results and other event information.
The site is also used by holiday makers because of its local information content.
How does it work?
For maximum effect, adverts are shown at the top right of every page on on a random basis.
Each advert must be an image measuring 80 pixels high and up to 360 pixels wide.
We can create a suitable image for you using your business logo/colours etc at no extra charge.
You can chnage your logo at any time.
Clicking your advert will take visitors to your website if you have one, or,
for the price of an extra advert, we can supply a dedicated page
(effectively a single page website) for you on our site.
We count each click and let you know your total in your renewal invoice.
Included in the price is an entry on our links page in the relevant section.
We will create new sections as necessary.
How much does it cost?
Your first advert costs £48[2] per year.
You can purchase extra adverts to increase your exposure[3].
Extra adverts can use the same image or a different image.
There is a discount of 20% on extra adverts.
Payment by cheque within 30 days of of invoice.
Invoices issued annually.
No refunds for cancellations after payment.
Adverts automatically removed in the event of non-payment.
Can I get my advert permanently displayed?
Yes - use the contact information below to discuss your requirements and get a quotation.
Your advert will be displayed in a different location on our pages so the cost will depend
on location and size.
What should I do now?
If you are interested in advertising on the site,
please contact Colin Jenkins on 01792 402320 or email colin@sailwave.com.
[1] - currently running at a page every 10 seconds or so on a 24 hours per day average.
[2] - plus VAT if you are VAT registered.
[3] - since adverts are displayed randomly, the probability of your advert being displayed at any one time increases with the number of adverts you purchase.
